Shadowgate Classic for Win95/98 was more or less a 32bit rerelease of the older Shadowgate (Win 3.1) versions made to run on newer machines (and remains compatible even with Windows 10).
Besides the update to 32-bit architecture there are a number of changes including the game title, menus, some changes to some of the art, and some script changes. A Map certificate at the end for example changes "Storm Haven" to Gwynenthell to fit in with some of the story changes/additions made by Shadowgate 64 and the Shadowgate Classic Story/Shadowgate Classic Comic at the time.
This version was also the basis for a release on Windows Ce/Palm OS versions as well.
The torches in the arrow room can be lit.
